Emirates airline enhances NDC offerings with ATPCO’s Routehappy Content

Emirates, UAE’s largest airline has announced a partnership with the US-based Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO) to enhance and enrich its new distribution capability (NDC) offerings with Routehappy Content.

ATPCO’s Routehappy Content communicates targeted information, messaging, and visual content about airline fares, products, and services. The new integration is currently available on Emirates’ direct connect NDC API Gateway platform, allowing travel agencies and corporate shoppers to utilize Emirates Gateway for a more personalized shopping experience.

Emirates’ NDC offers will now be viewed with highly targeted rich content, giving customers and shoppers a more innovative and transparent experience. The more visually appealing offer displays emphasize Emirates’ award-winning ground and in-flight services, and the unique offerings that are only available for certain flights or promotions.

“Our NDC offers are no longer just a customized price, it is now a fully packaged offer that showcases a more accurate, compelling, and enriched experience for those consuming our Gateway API. ATPCO’s Routehappy Content enables this richer shopping capability so our travel partners can see what their customers get with their offers, such as the cabin, seat, in-flight experience, health and safety protocols, and more.” 

Emirates was one of the first airlines to use Routehappy Content to improve its indirect channel merchandising and retailing capabilities. The airline is now focusing on its omnichannel distribution strategy and providing enriched offers to agents through its NDC API Gateway.

All agencies and sales channels that use Emirates’ Gateway API can benefit from the new rich content enhanced offers. Emirates welcomes any channel not already consuming its Gateway API to get in touch with the airline so the widest range of Emirates fare products can be accessed.
