Emirates has been crowned ‘Best Long Haul Airline’ at The Telegraph Travel Awards 2025, reaffirming its status as a leader in global air travel.
Voted by 20,000 readers of Telegraph Travel, the airline’s world class products and exceptional services earned it the prestigious title.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at the Pompadour Hotel Café Royal in London, where Helen Breen, Emirates’ Leisure Sales Manager in the UK, accepted the accolade on behalf of the airline.
This marks the airline’s third consecutive year of recognition by Telegraph Travel, having previously won the title in 2023. Its commitment to excellence was also highlighted this month when it was named ‘2025’s Most Recommended Global Brand’ by YouGov, further solidifying its global appeal. The airline was the only carrier to make it to the top 10 global brands list.
This recognition follows the airline’s outstanding achievements in the 2024 global rankings, where it was crowned ‘World’s Best Airline’ after topping a consumer study that evaluated over 30 criteria, including punctuality, fleet age, in flight services, and route network. With consistent accolades, the brand continues to set the standard for luxury air travel.

Emirates continues to expand its global reach, launching new destinations like Shenzhen, Da Nang, Siem Reap, and Hangzhou. The airline also deployed the Emirates A350 to 10 destinations and plans to expand to 17 by year end. Additionally, it has refurbished 61 aircraft and revamped nine travel retail stores across Asia, Africa, and Europe.
The airline has enhanced its Business Class dining with 18 new dishes paired with exclusive Champagne. Emirates Skywards now offers reciprocal benefits with Garuda Indonesia and AEGEAN, plus new rewards on flydubai flights and improved hotel partnerships with Marriott Bonvoy and ALL loyalty programs.
