Etihad Airways will launch a seasonal service between Abu Dhabi and Dhaka from 26 June 2026, responding to strong demand for travel and cargo between the UAE and Bangladesh while boosting trade links across South Asia.

The four-times-weekly flights to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport will enhance connectivity and position Abu Dhabi as a key gateway for trade between South Asia and global markets.

Operated by a Boeing 777, the service will feature 28 Business and 374 Economy seats, along with substantial bellyhold capacity to support growing cargo volumes on this strategically important route.

The launch is part of Etihad’s phased network expansion, aligning capacity with demand across key markets. With one of the world’s largest Bangladeshi communities residing in the UAE, the route will provide a direct, efficient link for families and travelers, alongside seamless onward connections via Abu Dhabi.
