Expo 2020 Dubai becomes the perfect platform for Latin American enterprises

According to a senior official, Expo 2020 Dubai is a perfect platform for Latin American enterprises because it aids investment, develops trade deals, and promotes international cooperation.

Mr. Omar Khan, Director of International Offices at Dubai Chamber, spoke during a webinar about the chamber’s activities as an official partner of Expo 2020 Dubai in marketing the mega event throughout the world and connecting with business communities throughout Latin America.

Mr. Khan further noted in a press release that the chamber will explore new paths of economic cooperation through the International Business Forum Latin America 2022, which will take place on the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Dubai Chamber’s representative offices in Latin America recently organized the webinar to promote Expo 2020 Dubai as a platform for doing business in Dubai and to inform entrepreneurs in the region about the Emirate’s competitive advantages.

The webinar entitled Webinar: Expo 2020: Your Platform for Doing Business in Dubai, drew nearly 600 people from 20 nations from a variety of industries, including consultancy, manufacturing, government, advertising, retail, and financial services.

During the webinar, the chiefs of the Dubai Chamber’s offices in Brazil, Panama, and Argentina gave a brief introduction of several Latin American nations’ strategic plans for Expo 2020 Dubai, along with their expectations for the mega event.

According to the reports, the event concluded with video messages from general commissioners of Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Costa Rica, who spoke about their respective countries’ preparations for Expo 2020 Dubai and the importance of the event for the region, as well as expanding relations between the UAE and Latin American business communities.
