Two of the UAE’s most influential culinary figures have joined forces with French multinational hospitality company Accor to launch a food technology platform that will provide home delivery as well as in-room dining to hotel guests at an affordable price.

The new initiative, Kitch-In, is the brainchild of Bulldozer Group CEO Evgeny Kuzin and renowned Chef Izu Ani, the forces behind restaurant concepts including Gaia and Shanghai Me.

Kitch-In will use Accor’s hotel network and delivery aggregators to offer customers food from a range of established restaurants as well as new virtual brands.

According to the founders, Kitch-In dishes are delivered without compromising flavor, taste, or nutritional value. And, using an existing hotel kitchen network also cuts down on transportation and waste.

“Our goal is to simplify cooking, nutrition, and sustainability by providing easy access to amazing food, prepared by an expert culinary team that meets nutritional requirements and reduces waste, at a reasonable price. Kitch-In is the first and only F&B platform that has the capacity and technology to effectively monitor quality control across the entire ecosystem. This gives us the ability to scale each vertical quickly and skilfully, from the development of illustrious digital restaurant brands created and endorsed by celebrity chefs to the efficient delivery network, there is no limit to our scalability, and we have ambitious plans for worldwide expansion.”

Kitch-In features legacy restaurant brands including Gaia, Scalini, and Shanghai Me, as well as other home-grown virtual outlets. The new venture will launch with four digital brands, with many more to follow by the end of the year, as per the reports.

The platform will first be available at the Movenpick Grand Plaza by Accor in Dubai Media City, where it will partner with existing delivery aggregators. Moreover, Kitch-In and its users benefit from Accor’s extensive reach and accessibility, as well as operations, logistics, and professional kitchen teams.
