The President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Eng. Khalid Al-Salem, has inaugurated the ‘Hayat Square’ urban project Jubail Industrial City, as part of the commission’s vision to transform Saudi Arabia’s industrial cities into smart and thriving urban centers.
The Hayat Square urban project spans a total area of more than 9,400 square meters and is highlighted by the impressive ‘Hayat Fountain’, which alone covers 2,230 square meters. Designed with cutting-edge technology and innovation, the fountain is equipped with 1,536 nozzles of 13 different types, approximately 388 high-performance pumps, and 613 vibrant light projectors.
These features of the Hayat Square urban project collectively position it as a strong contender for a potential world record, offering a visually stunning and dynamic water display that blends art, engineering, and technology.
The Hayat Square urban project incorporates distinctive technological and artistic elements, most notably a large water screen measuring 24 meters in width and 8 meters in height. This screen is equipped with a state-of-the-art projection system designed for immersive visual shows.
Complementing this is an integrated mist system that is fully synchronized with the fountain displays, enhancing the overall sensory experience and adding a dramatic visual dimension to the performances.
The Hayat Square urban project also boasts a high-quality sound system consisting of 16 strategically positioned speakers, delivering immersive audio to enhance the overall visitor experience. Additionally, it includes approximately four large outdoor display screens, each spanning 35 square meters, which serve as dynamic platforms for multimedia content, announcements, and interactive shows.
A modern lighting system in the Hayat Square urban project featuring more than 460 advanced lighting units, along with a series of contemporary light poles, ensures the space remains vibrant and visually appealing both day and night.
The square’s design and visual identity of Hayat Square urban project were thoughtfully developed to offer a distinctive and engaging aesthetic experience. This is further enriched by the integration of over 140 pieces of urban furniture, including ergonomically designed benches, comfortable seating areas, and shaded zones, creating a welcoming environment that encourages relaxation, social interaction, and prolonged visits.
