Kuwait Airways has launched its first commercial flights to Zurich, Switzerland, adding the city to its international route network as part of its summer operations program.
The new service will operate twice weekly, with flights scheduled on Fridays and Sundays. The introduction of the Zurich route forms part of Kuwait Airways’ ongoing efforts to expand its international network and provide passengers with additional travel options across key markets.
The airline said that the new destination has been added in response to customer demand and growing interest in European destinations during the summer travel season.
Abdulwahab Al-Shatti, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, said that the launch of flights to Zurich supports the airline’s strategy of expanding its global network and reaching new markets that align with passenger requirements.
Al-Shatti noted that Zurich is a popular destination during the summer period and represents an important addition to the airline’s seasonal schedule.
Al-Shatti remarked that Kuwait Airways remains focused on offering customers a broader range of travel options through the introduction of new destinations and services.
