New responsibility to Sheikh Hamdan; Dubai issues royal decrees

Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will be provided with a new responsibility to head the government’s Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD). 

Sheikh Hamdan gathered the new commitment as His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai issued Decree No. (24) of 2020 to restructure the board of ICD.

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum will serve ICD as its new Vice-Chairman while Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani will serve as the Managing Director. Other members of the Board include Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Mohammed Hadi Al Hussaini, Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh and Helal Saeed Al Marri.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid has also issued Decree No. (25) of 2020 on the board of directors of the Meydan City Corporation.

Both decrees are effective from their date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
