Oman Airports has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ATL Aviation, Travel and Logistics Holdings Limited of Rwanda to explore strategic cooperation in aviation development and related infrastructure.

The agreement was formalized in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, and establishes a broad framework for collaboration aimed at enhancing airport development, aviation infrastructure, and integrated logistics services between the two entities.

The partnership also reflects growing engagement between Oman and Rwanda in advancing aviation sector capabilities and fostering sustainable transport connectivity.

Under the terms of the MoU, both parties will jointly explore opportunities in several key areas, including the development of airport cities, expansion of aviation infrastructure, and enhancement of cargo and logistics operations.

The agreement also covers human resource development initiatives designed to build technical expertise and strengthen operational efficiency within the aviation sector.

In addition, the collaboration will include feasibility studies for potential future projects, enabling both organizations to assess long-term investment opportunities and identify areas for sustainable growth in aviation-related infrastructure and services.

Oman Airports emphasized that the MoU aligns with its broader strategic objective of expanding its international footprint and building strong global partnerships in the aviation and logistics sectors.

The initiative also supports efforts to enhance air connectivity, improve service quality, and promote sustainable development across airport operations.

The partnership is expected to facilitate knowledge exchange and the adoption of advanced operational practices, particularly in areas such as airport city development and modern aviation management systems.

By leveraging ATL Holdings’ regional expertise in Rwanda and Oman Airports’ operational experience, the collaboration aims to create mutually beneficial outcomes and contribute to the long-term development of both aviation ecosystems.

This agreement underscores Oman Airports’ commitment to diversifying its international collaborations and strengthening its role as a key player in global aviation infrastructure development.
