The Oman’s Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion will launch the 3rd edition of the ‘National Campaign for Discounts and Promotional Offers’, titled ‘Oman Celebrates’, on 7 January 2026.
On the occasion of His Majesty the Sultan’s Accession Day, the Oman Celebrates campaign will be held in Muscat in partnership with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and the Consumer Protection Authority.
The launch ceremony of the Oman Celebrates event will be held under the auspices of Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Oman Celebrates campaign will last from 11 January to 11 February 2026. It will see the participation of 814 commercial outlets, more than 154 percent higher in comparison with the first edition. This increase reflects the great community demand and the positive impact of the initiative on the local market.
Oman Celebrates : Aims and Objectives
A key goal of the Oman Celebrates’ campaign is to provide consumers with access to a wide range of products at affordable prices, ensuring that people from various social and economic segments can benefit from the offers. This approach not only promotes inclusivity but also encourages a culture of smart and value-driven shopping.
The primary objective of the ‘campaign is to stimulate economic activity, support local businesses, and boost sales across the retail sector during the celebration period. By creating a platform for widespread promotions and discounts, the initiative aims to strengthen the local market and enhance overall consumer spending.
Additionally, the Oman Celebrates campaign seeks to increase commercial activity in Oman by attracting participation from both local and international brands. By doing so, it aims to broaden product availability, enhance market competitiveness, and make essential goods more accessible to the public, while reinforcing Oman’s position as a vibrant hub for trade and retail.
