Ooredoo Money strikes MoU with Qatari fintech SkipCash

Qatar’s first licensed payment service provider (PSP), Ooredoo Money has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with SkipCash to support Qatar National Vision 2030 by providing state-of-the-art digital financial services both to customers and merchants.

Qatar-based SkipCash is a payment solution provider engaged in merchant acceptance, provision of value-added and aggregation services.

The signing of this memorandum of understanding marks the beginning of a long-term process of cooperation between the two parties.

The company said that multiple services will be introduced jointly to provide for the needs of all Ooredoo Money and SkipCash users and merchants.

The MoU was signed by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Nasser Al Thani, Chief Commercial Officer at Ooredoo, and Mr. Mohammed Al Delaimi, CEO and founder of SkipCash.

Ooredoo Money is a mobile wallet service that allows users to register for a “Mobile Wallet Account” that will help them to deposit, withdraw, pay and send money in Qatar or abroad instantly through their phone.
