Qatar Airways has announced an increase in flight frequencies between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha and Dubai International Airport (DXB), expanding services from two to five daily flights beginning 5 June 2026.
The increase will be implemented in phases to accommodate growing travel demand and provide passengers with additional scheduling options between Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Under the phased rollout, the airline has increased its existing two daily services to three daily flights effective 5 June.
A fourth daily service will be introduced from 15 June, while a fifth daily flight will be added during the summer season.
The route will be served by Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft, increasing capacity and supporting passenger demand on one of the region’s busiest travel corridors.
Upon completion of the expansion, Qatar Airways will operate up to 35 weekly flights between Doha and Dubai, providing additional connectivity for passengers traveling for business, tourism, and other purposes.
The airline stated that the additional frequencies form part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen connectivity within the region and support travel between Qatar and the UAE.
Qatar Airways has continued to restore and expand its operations across the Middle East and currently serves more than 20 destinations in the region.
The airline resumed services to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) in April and restarted flights to Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) in May.
The increase in Dubai frequencies follows the restoration of these UAE routes and contributes to the airline’s broader regional network expansion strategy.
The additional services are expected to provide greater flexibility for passengers traveling between the two countries, while also supporting onward connections through Hamad International Airport to destinations across the Qatar Airways network.
Qatar Airways is continuing the phased expansion of its international operations and expects to serve more than 160 destinations globally during the summer season.
The airline stated that the network growth is intended to meet passenger demand and enhance connectivity across key markets while supporting travel flows between regional and international destinations.
