Qatar Chamber (QC) has introduced a new electronic service to assist private sector firms in updating their contact details and information in the ‘Qatar Chamber Commercial & Industrial Directory.’

According to the statement, the new service enables Qatar Chamber members to build their own profile on the directory, which includes information about the company, contact numbers, a website, an address, a location, and other information. Furthermore, it allows businesses to update information that is already in the directory.

The companies are encouraged to build profiles on the chamber’s website, the Qatar e-Government Portal, Hukoomi, or the Qatar Chamber Commercial & Industrial Directory’s official website, according to the QC.

“Qatar Chamber Commercial & Industrial Directory is an electronic platform that includes lists of commercial and industrial companies operating in Qatar and registered at the chamber, and stressed that it provides an easy tool for communication among companies. This step emphasizes the role played by the chamber as a representative and advocate of the private sector and business community in the country. He noted that the chamber is keen to enhance communication between investors and businessmen of various commercial and industrial activities. This online platform enables foreign investors to explore the local market and identify companies of various economic sectors. The directory aims to provide an updated and accurate database about private sector companies in a way that reflects the contribution of the private sector in the Qatari national economy.”

Mr. Al-Sharqi also stated that the implementation of this service is part of the chamber’s development goals for serving the private sector and that other online services for chamber members will be introduced soon.

As per the reports, Qatar Chamber encourages businessmen and company directors to update their firm’s data on the directory’s website or through the Hukoomi portal by completing the registration and attaching the required documents to verify the data’s validity and focal point for each company.

The company will be able to update its data in the directory and upload its logo, profile, contact information, e-mail and website, social media channels, location, and other information when the account has been verified. After completing all required information on the company’s profile, the chamber will tag the company profile with ‘Verified by Qatar Chamber.’
