Qatar-based multinational telecom company Ooredoo has signed a strategic partnership deal with leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, Wipro as part of becoming a trusted Microsoft Azure managed services provider.

Ooredoo said that this new alliance will allow business clients to support and accelerate their transition to the public cloud.

Through this deal, Qatar-based companies will be able to get benefit from consulting and technical services, cloud solution design, implementation, and regular operational assistance for their Microsoft Azure services with the support of Ooredoo, a trusted partner with a deep level of cloud knowledge and experience.

Microsoft Azure is an ever-expanding set of cloud services that offers computing, analytics, storage, and networking services with the freedom to build, manage and deploy applications on a massive and global network. It covers various possibilities to modernize an enterprise’s digital workload.

Via this partnership, the telecom company aims to help leverage digital technologies and to support customer operations. Further, the regional companies can utilize the secure Ooredoo Cloud Connect (ExpressRoute) connectivity already developed between Ooredoo and global Microsoft Azure data centers.
