The Saudi Accreditation Center (SAAC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Energy to strengthen cooperation in accreditation and enhance the reliability of technical services.

The agreement aims to improve the quality and efficiency of accreditation-related activities while supporting higher standards across the sector.

Under the agreement, SAAC will provide accreditation services across Saudi Energy’s technical activities, helping to ensure they meet nationally and internationally recognized standards of quality, competence, and reliability.

Furthermore, the partnership will also enable Saudi Energy to access SAAC’s network of accredited laboratories, inspection bodies and certification bodies, strengthening the accuracy, efficiency and credibility of its testing, inspection and conformity assessment processes.

The agreement is designed to enhance the reliability and credibility of technical results and services while promoting the adoption of best practices in accordance with recognized national and international standards and regulatory requirements.

According to the statement, the MoU also establishes a framework for exchanging knowledge and expertise, delivering joint training initiatives, and strengthening technical, administrative, and research collaboration between the two organizations. These efforts support greater integration while contributing to the development of national capabilities in quality assurance and accreditation.
