Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources has signed several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with prominent local and international companies in order to boost manufacturing and strengthen supply chains.

These agreements aim to drive advancements in advanced manufacturing, support local content development, and reinforce national supply chains. The initiative is designed to enhance the competitiveness of the Saudi industry both regionally and globally.

The agreements were signed during the ‘Industrial Transformation Saudi Arabia 2025’ Exhibition, organized by the ministry in partnership with Deutsche Messe and Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd.

Saudi Arabia’s local content development and manufacturing growth

The ministry has signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) to introduce innovative financing solutions for industrial establishments, bolster national supply chains, and promote local content development.

In addition, the Ministry’s National Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Production has signed several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with both local and international industrial and advisory companies.

These agreements aim to support the growth of advanced manufacturing, develop robust supply chains, foster technological innovation, and enhance the competitiveness of national factories. This initiative aligns with the goals of the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

These strategic partnerships are a key component of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to transform and strengthen the Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem. By facilitating access to cutting-edge industrial solutions, the ministry aims to empower manufacturers, drive supply chain development, and foster innovation across various sectors.

This initiative is designed to support the creation of a sustainable and competitive industrial sector, positioning Saudi Arabia’s industries to thrive both regionally and globally. Through these collaborations, the ministry is not only enhancing local manufacturing capabilities but also contributing to the broader objectives of economic diversification under Saudi Vision 2030.
