Saudi Arabia’s Industry and Mineral Resources sector has concluded its participation in Hannover Messe 2026, held in Germany from April 20 to 24, where it showcased key enablers supporting the Kingdom’s industrial development and highlighted investment opportunities across priority sectors.

The participation at Hannover Messe also featured discussions on prospects for cooperation with several international companies and entities, aimed at strengthening high-quality partnerships, supporting knowledge transfer, stimulating investment, and enhancing the competitiveness of national industry.

The sector’s pavilion at Hannover Messe 2026 underscored the Kingdom’s industrial transformation journey and its vision to advance manufacturing capabilities and accelerate the adoption of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, contributing to improved production efficiency and stronger competitiveness.

It further highlighted the Kingdom’s investment advantages, incentives offered to investors, and its mineral resources, valued at more than $2.51 trillion (SAR 9.4 trillion), as a key pillar for downstream industries and value chains linked to critical minerals and clean energy technologies.

Strategic meetings at Hannover Messe 2026

On the sidelines of the Hannover Messe exhibition, the Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources held a series of meetings with global industrial and technology entities, including Siemens, Festo, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Ziehl-Abegg, Fraunhofer Society, Schneider Electric, SEW-Eurodrive, Schaeffler Technologies, and Deutsche Messe.

These meetings explored opportunities to expand strategic partnerships, support the localization of advanced technologies and innovative industrial solutions, and reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a regional and global hub for advanced manufacturing.

Additionally, the sector’s pavilion at Hannover Messe marked the World Day for Women in Industry, observed annually on April 21. The initiative was adopted during the 21st session of the General Conference of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, hosted by Riyadh in November 2025, with broad participation from ministers, decision-makers, international organizations, and industry leaders worldwide.
