Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bandar Alkhorayef, has held a series of bilateral meetings with senior leaders of prominent regional and global companies to enhance dialogue on industrial collaboration and strategic partnerships.

The discussions focused on strengthening industrial cooperation and exploring key opportunities in advanced manufacturing and the iron and steel industry. The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 2026 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

During a meeting with Member of the Managing Board, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at Siemens Dr. Peter Koerte, the Saudi Arabian minister discussed ways to enhance cooperation in industrial automation solutions and digital transformation.

The discussions reviewed the Kingdom’s vision to enable smart industrial transformation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through the ‘Future Factories Program’ and to accelerate the adoption of advanced industrial technologies and energy-efficiency solutions in support of national targets.

The Industry Minister has held talks with Ezz Steel Founder and Chairman, Eng. Ahmed Ezz, to discuss the future outlook of the iron and steel industry in the Middle East and North Africa, along with shared growth opportunities in this vital sector in a way that enhances the resilience and sustainability of regional supply chains.

In a separate bilateral meeting, Bandar Alkhorayef has met with Agility Global Chief Executive Henadi Al-Saleh to review the company’s current investments in the Kingdom and explore its future expansion plans, initiatives and strategic objectives, which will further strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a leading global logistics hub.
