Saudi SAL, UK’s GCL in pact to offer logistics services for Entertainment & Media sector

SAL Saudi Logistics Services (SAL), a member of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation (SAUDIA), has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with UK-based GCL International to provide specialized logistics services inside the Kingdom and countries around the world.

The agreement was signed in London by Mr. Faisal bin Saad Al-Baddah, Managing Director and CEO of SAL Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Paul J. Martins, CEO and President of GCL International.

Under this agreement, both entities will provide specialized logistics services’ solutions to their customers in the sectors of entertainment, events, sporting events, culture, arts and film and television production inside and outside the Kingdom. This agreement will contribute to providing specialized logistics services to support these sectors and contribute to their expansion inside the Kingdom.

SAL handles 99 percent of Saudi Arabia’s inbound and outbound air cargo with operations at Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, and many other domestic stations, and has been building out a highly capable Logistics Solutions team focused on end-to-end services for time-critical end markets.

SAL has established a country-wide network of infrastructure, experienced staff, and vendor relations across all modes of transportation necessary to deliver high-quality service in and out of Saudi Arabia.
