The Saudi Space Agency has signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) with the Japanese government to promote the peaceful use of outer space.
The agreement was reached on the sidelines of the Saudi-Japan Ministerial Investment Forum, marking a significant step in fostering bilateral collaboration in space exploration and technology.
The memorandum was signed with Japan’s Cabinet Office, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Space Agency, Abdullah Alswaha, represented the agency during the signing.
