Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has expanded its international network by adding Kozhikode in India as a new scheduled destination.

This makes Kozhikode the airline’s seventh city in India, alongside Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. The new route enhances connectivity between Saudi Arabia and India, offering passengers convenient access for business, leisure, and family travel, while further strengthening the airline’s presence in one of its key international markets.

Operations to Kozhikode are scheduled to commence on February 1, 2026, with four weekly flights departing from King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Bookings for the new route are now open and can be made conveniently through Saudia’s official website and mobile app.

This new route aligns with Saudia’s broader expansion strategy to reach additional international destinations, enhance global connectivity to the Kingdom, maximize the utilization of its modern fleet, and further strengthen its competitiveness in the global aviation market.

Meanwhile, coordination is actively underway with airport authorities in Kozhikode to finalize all operational arrangements, ensuring a smooth and seamless launch for passengers traveling on this new international service.

The addition of Kozhikode further strengthens the airline’s extensive global network, which now spans more than 100 destinations across four continents and caters to tourism, business travel, as well as the Hajj and Umrah seasons.

Saudia (Saudia Airlines), established in 1945, has grown into one of the Middle East’s largest airlines, operating one of the region’s youngest fleets with 149 aircraft and serving around 100 destinations across four continents, including all 26 domestic airports in the Kingdom.

With over 550 domestic and international flights operated daily, Saudia demonstrates the scale of its operations while maintaining a strong focus on expanding connectivity and enhancing travel options for passengers worldwide.
