The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) launches two major events: ‘Al Dhaid Nights’ and ‘Fili Nights’, at Souq Shari’at Al Dhaid and Fili Heritage Souq, offering a vibrant mix of cultural celebrations and shopping activities.

The ‘Al Dhaid Nights’ and ‘Fili Nights’ are part of the ongoing Sharjah Ramadan Festival 2026, offering a mix of shopping activities, cultural celebrations, and family-friendly events. The festival, which runs until 25 March, coincides with the UAE’s ‘Year of Family’ and promotes the theme ‘Ramadan Spirit in the Heart of Sharjah.’

The initiative also supports the newly launched development projects in Al Dhaid City and the Fili area, which were inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.

Young Influencer event engages families

As part of the festival, Souq Shari’at Al Dhaid has hosted the launch of the ‘Young Influencer’ event, which encouraged strong family participation. Children had the opportunity to capture live coverage of the festival through filming, interviews, and heritage-themed quizzes, as well as participate in interactive entertainment and prize giveaways.

Aisha Saleh, Director of the Festivals and Promotions Department at SCCI, highlighted that ‘Al Dhaid Nights’ and ‘Fili Nights’ aim to stimulate both commercial and tourism activity in Sharjah’s Central Region while reinforcing the region’s cultural identity. Amal Al Hosani, Head of Media and Marketing at SCCI and Chair of the festival’s Media Committee, emphasized the initiative’s role in involving younger generations in heritage initiatives and helping them develop communication skills.

Grand Prizes, Competitions at Al Dhaid, Fili Nights

Organized in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority and Al Wusta TV, the ‘Al Dhaid Nights’ and ‘Fili Nights’ events offer major prizes, including two Nissan Patrol SUVs and cash rewards. Shoppers can earn one raffle coupon for every $27.22 (AED 100) spent, with grand draws scheduled for 22 March at Souq Shari’at Al Dhaid and 23 March at Fili Heritage Souq.

The festival also features the ‘Best Festival Coverage on Instagram’ competition, environmental workshops, and heritage-inspired activities, running until 23 March 2026.
