Stc Bahrain, Huawei roll out first-of-its-kind WTTx solution in kingdom

Bahrain-based telecommunication company, stc Bahrain has collaborated with Chinese multinational technology company Huawei to launch the first-of-its-kind WTTx (Wireless to everything) provisioning solution in the kingdom.

According to the statement, the new advanced innovative tool is intended to boost customer satisfaction by providing a pre-evaluation and ongoing development for Home Broadband users throughout the kingdom.

The new AI-based automation tool is a fully digitized end-to-end solution that gives real-time updated broadband coverage and throughput map results that facilitate home broadband service provisions based on customer’s data.

“We are pleased to launch this new first of a kind solution in the region. The deployment of WTTx solutions will enhance the overall broadband experience. We continue to invest in our infrastructure by using AI and machine learning to be able to automate and digitize our tools and processes, to be able to offer outstanding services to further support our network’s capability and better serve our customers with innovations that enhance their daily life. This new breakthrough solution comes as part of stc Bahrain’s continuous efforts to support the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda and Bahrain’s economic vision towards becoming a smart and sustainable community.”

Further, the new tool will enable stc Bahrain to recommend the most suitable packages for each customer, explaining the quality of service they will get based on their location.

“Additionally, the results generated are integrated by stc Bahrain’s systems in which the machine learning device provides feedback as to whether there is a need to accelerate the use of 5G, given that the demand is higher in certain areas. Hence it speeds up the adoption of home broadband advanced services based on 5G networks in Bahrain,” as per the statement.

By adopting this solution, the customers can now have a smooth digitized end-to-end experience with reliable home broadband input that is ready to use and install at their premises, the company added.
