The Tharwa Real Estate program, launched by the Abu Dhabi Youth Council to empower Emirati youth and create sustainable career pathways in the property sector, has graduated 50 Emirati real estate brokers.
The program provided participants with specialized training, practical industry exposure, and official licenses that enable them to operate professionally in Abu Dhabi’s real estate market.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Federal Youth Authority, and Dr. Saif Al Nasseri, Acting Undersecretary of the Department of Municipalities and Transport, along with several officials, strategic partners, and representatives from the real estate sector.
Preparing market-ready real estate professionals
The Tharwa Real Estate program is one of the flagship youth empowerment initiatives aimed at preparing a new generation of Emirati professionals capable of entering the real estate sector with confidence and competence.
The initiative combines specialized academic training with hands-on field exposure to ensure participants gain both technical knowledge and practical market insights.
Participants underwent a comprehensive training agenda that included specialized sessions in real estate brokerage, workshops covering regulatory and legislative frameworks, and practical learning aligned with market needs and professional standards.
A key component of the program involved targeted field visits designed to bridge theory with real-world experience. Participants visited major real estate destinations and development projects across Abu Dhabi, including Al Reem Island, Hudayriyat Island, and Fahid Island, in addition to attending the Real Estate Exhibition.
These visits offered participants first-hand insights into property development processes, marketing and sales mechanisms, and the operational dynamics of large-scale real estate projects, helping them better understand investment opportunities and market realities.
According to the Abu Dhabi Youth Council, the program forms part of a broader portfolio of initiatives aimed at strengthening youth financial independence and increasing their participation in high-growth economic sectors. The initiative focuses on delivering tangible outcomes by graduating licensed brokers who are ready to enter the workforce.
