Abu Dhabi Chamber explores ways to boost economic ties with Costa Rica

Dr. Ali Saeed bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, First Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation with Mr. Francisco J. Chacón Hernández, Ambassador of Costa Rica to the UAE.

The meeting, attended by Abu Dhabi Chamber Deputies Director-General Mr. Abdullah Ghurair Al Qubaisi and Mr. Helal Mohammed Al Hameli, discussed how to boost economic partnerships between businesses in both countries.

Furthermore, the two sides exchanged their point of views on the latest economic updates of shared interests. The meeting was held at the Chamber’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Mr. Al Dhaheri welcomed the Costa Rican Ambassador, praising the distinguished relations across all economic and commercial levels, driven by the shared desire to open new doors of investment for the business community in Abu Dhabi and Costa Rica.

The Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber briefed Mr. Hernández about the Chamber’s role in stimulating the economy of Abu Dhabi and its contribution to the government’s efforts in realizing its economic vision.

Further, Mr. Al Dhaheri explained that the Chamber offers businesses in the emirate with exceptional services, pointing to the readiness of the Chamber to increase its bilateral relations across all economic levels.

The Ambassador of Costa Rica to the UAE praised the warm welcome, emphasizing the need of expanding business partnerships between the two nations, particularly in sectors of common interest, such as agriculture and food security.

The Costa Rican Ambassador invited Abu Dhabi Chamber to visit Costa Rica and take a closer look at the available investment opportunities in his country.
