Abu Dhabi DMT to host LIVEX 2026 focused on liveability and investment

The Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) has announced that it will host LIVEX 2026, an inaugural liveability and investment exhibition designed to serve as a global platform for dialogue on the future of urban development and sustainable cities.

Scheduled to take place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, LIVEX 2026 will bring together government leaders, policymakers, development institutions, academics, investors, and industry experts from around the world to explore human-centric and integrated approaches to enhancing urban liveability.

The exhibition aims to position Abu Dhabi at the center of global discussions on building connected, inclusive, and future-ready communities.

It will also highlight the emirate’s long-term development strategy, which integrates quality of life, economic resilience, and sustainable urban growth across key sectors, including real estate, mobility, healthcare, education, culture, technology, and sustainability.

“LIVEX reflects Abu Dhabi’s commitment to shaping cities and communities around people’s needs, aspirations, and quality of life. As cities worldwide respond to evolving economic, social, and environmental realities, the need for more integrated and human-centric urban development has never been greater. Through LIVEX, Abu Dhabi will convene a constructive international dialogue on liveability, advancing partnerships, innovation, investment, and shared progress.”

Rashed Al Omaira, Director General of Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre, highlighted that, “Abu Dhabi’s development journey is guided by a clear long-term vision that connects quality of life with economic resilience and sustainable urban growth. LIVEX offers an important opportunity to engage local and international stakeholders around this model, while highlighting the depth of the emirate’s real estate landscape and the opportunities it continues to create.”

LIVEX 2026 is expected to attract more than 20,000 attendees, including policymakers, business leaders, developers, investors, and innovators from over 50 countries.

The event will feature more than 75 exhibitors and a comprehensive program of discussions, exhibitions, and activations focused on shaping the future of cities and investment in urban development.

Through LIVEX, Abu Dhabi aims to reinforce its position as a leading global destination for talent, enterprise, and investment, while promoting collaboration across sectors to drive responsible and sustainable growth.
