The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), marking a new step in strengthening trade and investment collaboration between the Abu Dhabi and the Republic of Latvia.
The agreement was signed by Aida Al Khoury, on behalf of HE Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Director-General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Katrina Zarina, Board Member and Director of External Relations at LCCI.
Signed during the Joint Economic Committee meeting with the Republic of Latvia, led by the Ministry of Foreign Trade of UAE, the agreement reflects shared commitment of both sides to deepen private sector partnerships and expand bilateral economic cooperation.
The deal establishes a structured framework for collaboration aimed at facilitating trade, encouraging investment flows, and enabling companies in both countries to explore new markets.
UAE-Latvia Economic ties are strengthening, with bilateral non-oil trade reaching $103 million in 2024, a 7.5 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over five years, and strong potential for further growth, particularly in plastics, chemicals, jewelry and metal products.
Latvian firms in Abu Dhabi are active across professional services, real estate, finance and sports, while UAE companies are expanding in Latvia through major initiatives such as Eagle Hills’ $3.3 billion Riga waterfront project and the M42–Latvia Ministry of Health partnership on digital and AI-driven healthcare.

Under the new partnership, the chambers will exchange market insights, facilitate investor support, and open direct engagement channels between Abu Dhabi and Latvian businesses. The agreement also covers coordinated delegations, joint forums, trade exhibitions, and shared technical expertise to help companies identify opportunities and build long-term commercial ties.
