The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced it will organize the Omani-Tunisian Business Forum next Wednesday to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Oman and Tunisia.
The forum aims to expand private sector collaboration and provide a platform for business owners to explore investment opportunities, discuss potential partnerships, and identify joint projects that can enhance trade exchange and economic integration between the two sides.
According to the Chamber, the forum will focus on several priority sectors, including food industries, renewable energy, textiles, and agricultural development.
It will also include bilateral meetings between companies and institutions from both countries to facilitate dialogue on cooperation opportunities and exchange of expertise.
HE Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the forum reflects the Chamber’s efforts to strengthen economic relations with sister and friendly countries and enable Omani private sector institutions to benefit from available investment and trade opportunities.
Al Rawas added that the forum will serve as a platform for direct engagement between business communities in Oman and Tunisia, particularly in sectors with strong growth potential, contributing to the development of sustainable partnerships that benefit both sides.
His Excellency Faisal Al Rawas further stated that Omani-Tunisian relations continue to develop across various fields, with increasing opportunities for private sector cooperation in food industries, renewable energy, manufacturing and agriculture.
The forum has attracted broad participation from companies and institutions in both countries, highlighting growing interest in strengthening bilateral economic relations and exploring new avenues for joint investment and trade development.
