ADIO, Etisalat unite to promote Abu Dhabi’s innovation ecosystem

The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has entered into a strategic partnership with UAE-based leading telecom company Etisalat in order to provide the private sector more access to Abu Dhabi’s investment and innovation ecosystem.

According to the statement, the alliance combines ADIO’s support services with Etisalat’s innovative skills to provide chances for enterprises in the emirate. The partnership is a joint effort between ADIO and Etisalat to support Abu Dhabi’s innovation ecosystem.

ADIO and Etisalat will work together to uncover potential for businesses in Abu Dhabi by introducing businesses to their wide networks and expanding cooperation across the ecosystem. The cooperation guarantees that the private sector can access growth opportunities and serves as a launchpad for growth-stage technology companies to access the MEA region.

Further, it establishes a new channel for firms from all over the world to engage with suitable partners and take advantage of new opportunities in the technology sector of the emirate.

“ADIO’s $545 million (AED 2 billion) Innovation Program provides incentives to businesses in high-growth areas to expand in Abu Dhabi, while Etisalat Digital’s open innovation program, FutureNow, invites innovative technology companies to accelerate their businesses in the UAE and partner with Etisalat to bring new solutions to market,” as per the statement.
