ADNEC Group has introduced ‘CBRNE Hub’, a new pioneering initiative against CBRNE threats, at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence and Maritime Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) 2025.
Launched in collaboration with the Ministry of Defense and Tawazun Council and organized by the Chemical Defence Command of the Ministry of Defense, the ‘CBRNE Hub’ marks the first global hub for developing defense strategies against CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) threats by gathering leaders, experts, decision-makers, and leading companies.
The hub, located in a dedicated space in Hall 14 of IDEX, aims to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration. The platform will provide a wonderful opportunity to engage with industry leaders and discuss cutting-edge innovations and solutions.
Participating companies will highlight the latest products and cutting-edge technologies, including detection, monitoring, containment, and risk mitigation tools, as well as digital solutions and unmanned technologies for countering CBRNE threats.
The CBRNE Hub will feature an impressive array of global leaders and specialized experts to discuss emerging trends and challenges while presenting the latest solutions for preparedness and response to CBRNE threats.
Additionally, the hub will include training programs and workshops aimed at providing professionals with essential skills and knowledge to effectively manage and counter CBRNE incidents.
The Chemical Defence Command of the Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the Civil Defense Authority, the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the Ministry of Energy, and participating companies, will hold awareness workshops to educate attendees on CBRNE threats.
The initiative will also foster creativity and networking opportunities, attracting high-profile military leaders, experts, and specialists from 13 countries and 38 companies and institutions, alongside Ministers of Defence and senior decision-makers. It aims to strengthen cooperation, boost innovation, and enhance strategic preparedness in global security.
Furthermore, the CBRNE Hub will offer solutions to chemical threats, including impact mitigation, containment, and decontamination. It will also address biological weapon threats, focusing on monitoring and rapid response measures.
The hub will enhance radiological detection and protection, tackle nuclear threats with an emphasis on detection, containment, and emergency response, and assess explosive threats by outlining strategies for neutralization and mitigation.
