The Saudi Digital Government Authority (DGA) launches “Digital Saudi”, as part of the LEAP Conference, a global technical event that will be held in Riyadh from February 1 to 3, 2022.

LEAP is organized by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), to share the success stories of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation journey with a global, regional, and local audience, as well as to showcase government digital services that aim to enhance the quality of life and competitiveness to individuals and businesses.

According to reports, the exhibition aims to attract 30 government agencies in Saudi Arabia and review the digital compliance in line with the rapid developments in information technology with the participation of the most prominent experiences, numbers and services of digital government platforms, with international participation from the Republic of Estonia and the Sultanate of Oman.

“Digital Saudi Arabia” will witness the signing of strategic agreements and launches of 15 new digital government products and services for more than 30 government agencies, in addition to the DGA, with leading technology companies, to drive digital transformation and boost efficiency.

Mr. Nawaf Al-Musrea, Vice Governor of Marketing and Communications in DGA and general supervisor of “Digital Saudi Arabia”, stated that the exhibition is part of the authority’s efforts to regulate and develop digital government services in order to enable the government and private sectors to work together and to provide proactive, initiative, and highly efficient government services.

It would also stimulate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in the field of digital transformation, thus reinforcing the Kingdom’s leading digital position regionally and globally, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
