INJAZ Al-Arab, the world’s largest non-profit business education organization and a member of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, is launching the 2021 edition of its ‘Entrepreneurship Ecosystem’ program, to spur a culture of entrepreneurship and business innovation among youth in the region.

The program, which is launched as part of its Annual Youth Entrepreneurship Celebration, is held virtually, featuring sessions designed to prepare students from across the region for today’s job market.

The INJAZ Entrepreneurship Ecosystem looks to equip the participants with skills to scale and sustain their businesses while helping to nurture their future entrepreneurial ventures. Further, it will complement the JA Company Program and introduce another layer of one-on-one mentorship for students.

In the 2021 edition of the program, 21 student teams will be mentored by industry experts from Boeing, FedEx, Mastercard, Investcorp, and Citi Foundation, with sessions rolled out over a period of five weeks. Through INJAZ Al-Arab’s partnerships with leading companies across the private sector, the organization is providing Arab youth with the opportunity to develop key skill sets that will drive economies forward.

“Today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders, innovators, and problem-solvers, and our role at INJAZ Al-Arab is to provide our students with the tools for success. Through the program, and our work with strategic key partners we are fostering entrepreneurial thinking that will help challenge the status quo. To date, we have worked with over 4 million students, as we continue to invest in both their careers and the future of the region.”

The participants will also get the opportunity to explore in-depth skills sessions across design thinking, innovation, growth and development, customer service and business strategy, deepening their understanding of a wide spectrum of business concepts.

The sessions will be offered online to participants across 13 countries, throughout November, concluding with the anticipated Youth Entrepreneurship Celebration which takes place on the 5th of December 2021.

Launched in 2007, the INJAZ Al-Arab Youth Entrepreneurship Celebration is the conclusion of six months of rigorous experiential learning and application for students across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region who have won the internationally acclaimed INJAZ National Company Program.
