The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, has launched the second edition of the MODON Industrial Excellence Award,
The event is being held under the patronage of Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources HE Bandar Alkhorayef. This Industrial Excellence Award aims to recognize and celebrate outstanding achievements in industrial innovation, operational efficiency, and sustainable development within the Kingdom’s industrial sector.
It further reinforces Saudi Arabia’s commitment to fostering industry excellence and supporting its Vision 2030 goals.
The Industrial Excellence Award seeks to enhance competitiveness across the industrial sector, foster a culture of innovation and sustainability, improve product quality and operational efficiency, and actively support corporate social responsibility initiatives.
All these efforts align closely with the ambitious targets and strategic objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to drive the Kingdom’s industrial growth, economic diversification, and sustainable development for the future.
The second edition of the Industrial Excellence Award features four main categories:
Small and medium-sized enterprises
Large industrial enterprises
Entities specializing in basic industries
MODON Industrial Pioneers
These categories encompass key focus areas such as environmental sustainability, industrial innovation, industrial transformation, social responsibility, and human capital development.
The special ‘MODON Industrial Pioneers‘ category in the Industrial Excellence Award honors outstanding individuals in industry leadership, celebrates women’s contributions to the industrial sector, and recognizes impactful change-makers driving progress and excellence.
MODON emphasized that the Industrial Excellence Award is a pioneering initiative designed to advance industrial leadership, empower national talent, and provide an integrated and attractive investment environment that drives sustainable growth and innovation within the Kingdom’s industrial sector.
The authority encouraged individuals, institutions, and factories across the country to participate and register through the Industrial Excellence Award’s official website, with the registration period open from September 1 through December 31, offering a valuable opportunity to showcase excellence and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s industrial transformation.
