Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Fahd Al-Dosari met separately with Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bisat and Finance Minister Yassine Jaber in Beirut to discuss ways to enhance economic cooperation and support Lebanon’s recovery efforts.
During his meeting with the Minister of Economy and Trade of the Republic of Lebanon, both sides explored ways to enhance bilateral economic and trade relations between the two countries, alongside reviewing initiatives aimed at supporting Lebanon’s economic recovery plan.
Amer Bisat expressed appreciation to Saudi Arabia and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the decision to resume the entry of Lebanese exports into the Saudi market, a move seen as a boost to trade and economic revitalization.
In a separate meeting with Finance Minister Yassine Jaber, discussions centered on recent developments and the financial reforms being implemented by the ministry to stabilize Lebanon’s economy and advance recovery measures.
The talks also highlighted the significance of Saudi Arabia’s decision to resume imports of Lebanese products, which both sides described as a major and positive development for bilateral economic relations.
According to the reports, the move is expected to provide renewed momentum to Lebanese exports, open wider access for local producers to regional markets, and strengthen key trade sectors that have faced challenges in recent years. It was also seen as a supportive step toward restoring confidence in Lebanon’s economy and contributing to broader efforts aimed at revitalizing growth, creating opportunities, and reinforcing long-term economic stability.
The meetings underscored ongoing efforts to deepen economic coordination between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, with a shared emphasis on reforms, trade facilitation, and long-term economic stability.
