Oman-based Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company has received three certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a UK-based global standard-setting body.

The accolades include the ISO 9001:2015 certification for the Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 for the Environmental Management System, and ISO 45001:2018 for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

The company achieved these prestigious certifications as a result of its commitment to upholding the highest international standards of quality, environment, health, and safety in order to assure consistent and sustainable growth.

The certifications each as specific requirements that organizations can use to improve their performance. As part of an effort to meet these requirements, Al Maha recently completed a comprehensive internal assessment across the organization.

“We are very proud to have received each of these certifications. Every one of them is a testament to the great effort we have put into developing and updating our internal processes to meet international quality and management standards. These include all aspects of quality management and customer satisfaction, as well as detailed and rigorously enforced health, safety, and environmental protocols across the organization.

The certification team thoroughly examined the company’s various facilities and outlets, observed the work of various departments across the company, evaluated the performance of human resource teams, and, most importantly, critically assessed all relevant procedures, filling in any gaps and bringing them up to global standards.

Eng. Al Mahgdri further added that “Receiving these certifications marks an extremely significant milestone in our success journey and demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality and professional services to our clients. I would also like to encourage employees to keep up the good work as we continue to make significant strides into the future.
