OMODA JAECOO has showcased its AI-powered Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) technology as part of its intelligent mobility technologies in Saudi Arabia.
The AI-powered parking system is designed to enable vehicles to identify available parking spaces, navigate within parking facilities, and complete parking operations without driver intervention.
The technology forms part of OMODA JAECOO’s broader intelligent mobility portfolio, which combines artificial intelligence with advanced vehicle systems.
SIVP has been developed to address everyday parking requirements by allowing vehicles to autonomously detect parking spaces, calculate driving paths, and perform parking maneuvers.
The system uses advanced perception systems, intelligent path planning, and vehicle control technologies to complete parking operations while reducing driver involvement.
OMODA JAECOO said that the technology provides a more efficient and convenient parking experience in urban environments.
The company added that the system reflects its approach to integrating artificial intelligence into practical driving applications and expanding the use of intelligent vehicle technologies.
OMODA JAECOO recently demonstrated the SIVP technology on the JAECOO J7 SHS during the Beijing Auto Show and the Chery International Business Summit.
Intelligent parking technologies are becoming increasingly relevant as Saudi cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, continue expanding their urban infrastructure, commercial districts, and residential developments.
The company noted that parking efficiency remains an important consideration for drivers in shopping centers, business districts, entertainment venues, and residential communities.
The SIVP system also includes remote vehicle summon functionality, allowing users to call their vehicle remotely or enable the vehicle to park autonomously after arrival.
