Qatar Chamber explores enhancing ties with Turkey’s Izmir Chamber

The Qatar and Turkish Izmir chambers have discussed means to enhance cooperation links between both sides and activate trade and investment exchanges between both sides, as well as explore the investment climate in both Qatar and Izmir.

This came during a meeting held recently at the Qatar Chamber’s premises between QC First Vice-Chairman, HE Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari, and Mr. Adnan Bozbay, a member of the 49 Assembly of Real Estate Activities Group at Izmir Chamber.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Al Kuwari lauded Qatar-Turkey bilateral relations across all fields, emphasizing the significance of bolstering cooperation between both countries’ business sectors to further develop trade volume. The QC First Vice-Chairman highlighted the success of mutual investments in both countries even as he urged businessmen from both sides to further expand these investments.

For his part, Mr. Bozbay praised the close relations between Qatar and Turkey, affirming the readiness of the Izmir Chamber to enhance cooperation with the Qatar Chamber across all fields. He invited the Qatar Chamber and Qatari businessmen to visit Izmir to explore the investment climate and available opportunities.

According to the statement, the meeting was attended by Mr. Muhammet Fatih, the Commercial Counsellor at the Turkish Embassy to the State, Ms. Gülçin Okay, Vice President of the Professional Committee of Real Estate, Mr. Aykut Terzioğlu, Director of the Fair Division, Mr. Erdem Alptekin, the Economist expert, and Mr. Korhan Özseçen, a Member of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
