The Qatari Ministry of Labour, in collaboration with Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) and sponsored by Ahli Bank, has launched the ‘Jahez’ professional readiness program.

The program aims to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their career readiness, improve their chances of obtaining their desired jobs, enhance their leadership and teamwork skills, and develop their abilities in creative thinking, helping them achieve their career goals and succeed in their various paths.

The launch of the Jahez professional readiness program is part of the ministry’s efforts to rehabilitate and develop the skills of the national workforce and increase their competitiveness in the labour market.

The program is a two-day theoretical training between the Ministry of Labour and Qatar Academy for Finance and Business (QAFB) that covers the most important skills and knowledge needed for job seekers to find the right job in the labour market.

The program, which targets around 150 trainees in 2024 who are recent high school or university graduates, incorporates a comprehensive methodology to ensure maximum benefit for participants.

The job readiness program is one of the initiatives implemented by the ministry in partnership with the private sector to qualify and develop the skills of the national workforce before entering the labour market, in line with the country’s third national development strategy and its National Vision 2030.
