Qatar’s Ministry of Interior (MoI) has emphasized the need for strict adherence to safety guidelines and instructions from relevant authorities within workplace premises.
This follows the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers regarding the return to work.
MoI’s Focus on Safety and Compliance
In a statement published on its official X account, the MoI highlighted the critical importance of consistently adhering to the approved precautionary measures and instructions across all entities. This commitment is essential for safeguarding the well-being of both employees and visitors, while also ensuring the smooth and efficient continuation of operations, all within a safe and secure environment.
It also noted the importance of ensuring the readiness of emergency exits, evacuation routes, and assembly points, in addition to following the instructions issued by the competent authorities.
In addition, the Qatar MoI urged various entities to maintain and further strengthen efforts to raise awareness among both employees and visitors regarding the approved precautionary guidelines. It emphasized the need for ongoing education and active enforcement of these measures, ensuring they are effectively implemented across all workplaces.
By doing so, the Ministry aims to foster a safe and secure work environment, while also enhancing the overall preparedness of organizations to swiftly and efficiently respond to any unforeseen developments or changes in circumstances.
Return to Normal Work
Recently, the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced the return to normal work at workplace premises in accordance with the applicable regulations, starting from Tuesday, 24 March 2026, across all ministries, other government bodies, and public authorities and institutions.
