Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) has secured the ISO 27001 certificate for the third time, for its high standards in the field of information protection and customer data preservation.
The bank obtained the ISO 27001 certificate, one of the most renowned global accreditation in the field of information security, after fulfilling a set of basic criteria, including the advanced technological infrastructure, the extent of development at the bank’s cybersecurity department and its working methods.
Additionally, controls being implemented by various departments in the field of information security as per an integrated systematic plan that guarantees the highest standards of information and data confidentiality were also examined by the certification authority.
