ROX Motor has signed a strategic agreement with Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi – KEZAD Group to establish the Middle East’s first Advanced AI Manufacturing Center in Abu Dhabi.
The agreement announced during the Make it in the Emirates 2026 forum will focus on developing advanced automotive manufacturing capabilities powered by artificial intelligence and new energy technologies.
ROX said that the facility will combine advanced new energy technologies with intelligent manufacturing systems to support production for regional and international markets.
Through the partnership, ROX will utilize KEZAD Group’s industrial infrastructure and logistics network to develop a large-scale intelligent automotive manufacturing project in Abu Dhabi.
According to the plan, the Advanced AI Manufacturing Centre is scheduled to begin operations in the second half of 2026.
The facility is expected to reach an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles by 2030 and could contribute up to 10 percent to the UAE’s Operation 300 billion initiative.
Once operational, the centre will support vehicle production and exports across Middle Eastern and international markets through scalable AI-enabled manufacturing systems.
