The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, has participated in the Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs Ministers (Gymnich) held in Limassol, Cyprus, under the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
The meeting brought together foreign ministers from European and international partners to exchange views on current regional and global challenges, with particular emphasis on their impact on regional and international stability.
The discussions underscored the importance of continued diplomatic coordination to address emerging security concerns and maintain stability across key regions.
On the sidelines of the ministerial gathering, Prince Faisal bin Farhan held separate bilateral meetings with several European foreign ministers to review and strengthen relations between Saudi Arabia and European countries.
In his meeting with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, both sides reviewed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and France and explored opportunities to further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The discussions also covered recent regional and international developments and their implications for global security and stability.
Prince Faisal also met with Maxime Prévost, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation.

The two ministers discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on regional developments, along with ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at addressing challenges affecting stability in the broader region.
In a separate meeting with Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen, the Saudi foreign minister reviewed bilateral relations and discussed regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Both sides emphasized the importance of dialogue and continued engagement in addressing global challenges.
The meetings reflect Saudi Arabia’s ongoing diplomatic engagement with European partners and its efforts to strengthen bilateral relations while contributing to broader discussions on regional security and international stability.
