Seera Group joins Klook to support digital transformation of Saudi tourism

The Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) leading travel services firm Seera Group, has established a strategic partnership with Klook, the world’s leading travel and leisure booking platform, to support  digital transformation and robust growth of Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector.

The partnership was revealed in Dubai at the Arabian Travel Market 2021.

Seera will be Klook’s exclusive partner in Saudi Arabia, and the two companies will collaborate to develop a one-stop digital platform with end-to-end content and inventory management solutions to support tourism and leisure activity providers in Saudi Arabia, as well as include an unprecedented range of product offerings for visitors to, from, and within the Kingdom.

Mr. Fahd Hamidaddin, Chief Executive Officer Saudi Tourism Authority remarked that “for our partners across the Saudi tourism ecosystem, finding smart ways to connect with travelers enhances their ability to offer unique Arabian experiences to everyone eager to explore the destination. This platform will empower our innovators, disruptors, and the new generation of tourism professionals to reach out to the world, tell their stories and build their businesses.”

Mr. Majed Alnefaie, Acting Chief Executive Officer Seera Group pointed out that “our partnership with Klook builds on the strong leadership commitment to deliver the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to build the Kingdom’s tourism sector, diversify the economy and create long-term economic value. With the partnership, we will bring the world-class technological expertise of Klook, and Seera’s knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s tourism and travel sector together in one platform.”

Seera will add value to the partnership by leveraging its deep knowledge of the Saudi market, as well as localized content production, including Arabic-first content, and by providing helpful advice on how to promote the Kingdom to international travelers.

Furthermore, Almosafer, Seera’s flagship consumer travel brand that offers online travel planning, will develop a digitally powered activities and tour marketplace to provide a seamless booking experience through its omnichannel offering to its large Saudi customer base.

Both large and small tour activity providers in the Kingdom will have access to the requisite digital resources and expertise to easily develop, operate, and scale their business.
