stc Bahrain has entered into a partnership with Ithmaar Bank to manage the bank’s Amazon Web Services (AWS) billing, supporting improved cloud financial management, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
Under the agreement, stc Bahrain, an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner, will provide a consolidated cloud billing solution that delivers a single, transparent monthly invoice for Ithmaar Bank’s AWS usage.
The model is designed to simplify billing processes, reduce administrative complexity, and provide clearer visibility of cloud expenditures.
The partnership comes as financial institutions across the region continue to expand digital transformation initiatives and adopt cloud-based infrastructure, increasing the need for structured cost governance and financial oversight.
Through this collaboration, Ithmaar Bank will also gain access to stc Bahrain’s AWS-certified specialists, enabling adherence to cloud financial management best practices and improving overall governance of cloud operations.
The arrangement introduces a single point of contact for billing and support, streamlining vendor management and operational workflows.
