Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of Thailand, has officially inaugurated THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026, one of Asia’s most influential food and beverage trade events, at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, Muang Thong Thani.

Jointly organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) under Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), and Koelnmesse (KM), the exhibition serves as a major international platform for business negotiations, global networking, and long-term commercial partnerships across the food and beverage industry.

Organizers expect the event to generate trade value exceeding $3.9 billion (THB130 billion) while attracting buyers, investors, and industry professionals from more than 130 countries worldwide.

Speaking during the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul described THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA as a key driver of Thailand’s food industry and an important mechanism supporting the country’s broader economic and trade ambitions.

Charnvirakul noted that the exhibition has been ranked as the world’s fourth-largest food and beverage trade show and continues to play a significant role in advancing Thailand’s agricultural and food industries while creating new export and investment opportunities for Thai businesses.

This year’s edition marks the largest THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA ever staged, spanning all 12 exhibition halls at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani and covering more than 140,000 square meters of exhibition space.

The event features 3,590 exhibiting companies across 6,710 booths representing Thailand and 56 other countries.

The exhibition showcases a wide range of products and innovations, including food and beverages, agricultural products, processed food, food technology solutions, and related industry services.

Prime Minister Anutin highlighted the continued strength of Thailand’s food sector, noting that the country’s food exports exceeded $37.8 billion (THB1.254 trillion) in 2025.

The performance reflects Thailand’s growing importance in supporting global food security and strengthening resilient international supply chains amid rising worldwide demand for food products.

Anutin Charnvirakul further emphasized that Thailand’s world-class infrastructure, strong business ecosystem, skilled workforce, and government support continue to enhance the country’s competitiveness as both a regional and global service and trade hub.

In addition to large-scale product showcases, THAIFEX – ANUGA ASIA 2026 also features seminars, industry forums, trend discussions, and networking activities focused on evolving consumer preferences, food innovation, sustainability, and future business opportunities across the global food sector.

THAIFEX–ANUGA ASIA 2026 will hold trade days from 26–29 May 2026, while the trade and public day with retail sales for general visitors will take place on 30 May 2026 from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1–3, IMPACT Forum Hall 4, and IMPACT Exhibition Centre Halls 5–12.
