The UAE Ministry of Finance has launched the eInvoicing 4-Corner model to enable businesses to exchange electronic invoices through accredited service channels.
The initiative is designed to create a fully integrated, secure, and automated financial ecosystem by allowing businesses nationwide to transmit eInvoices via approved platforms.
It represents a step forward in enhancing transparency, improving compliance, and streamlining financial operations across the UAE economy.
As part of the rollout, businesses can access the Federal Tax Authority’s EmaraTax system to select an accredited service provider (ASP) approved by the Ministry of Finance.
Companies must enter into a commercial agreement with their chosen provider before completing onboarding and initiating eInvoice exchange.
The system enables transactions between suppliers and customers under the 4-Corner model, improving operational efficiency while ensuring secure and compliant data exchange across the business ecosystem.

“This milestone reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to advancing its digital financial ecosystem in line with global best practices. The introduction of the eInvoicing 4-Corner model enhances the efficiency and transparency of business transactions while strengthening compliance and enabling seamless integration across the tax ecosystem. We encourage businesses to proactively adopt this system and benefit from its capabilities as part of the UAE’s broader vision to enhance its competitive, future-ready economy.”
The framework also introduces an upcoming tax reporting feature (Corner 5), which is expected to go live ahead of the July pilot phase, further expanding the scope of digital tax capabilities in the country.
Aligned with international best practices, the 4-corner model establishes a scalable and interoperable eInvoicing system designed to support future innovation and economic growth.
The Ministry of Finance emphasized that businesses are encouraged to complete onboarding with their selected service providers at the earliest opportunity to fully benefit from the new system.
The initiative underscores the UAE’s continued focus on building a world-class digital infrastructure, improving ease of doing business, and strengthening its position as a leading data-driven economy.
