King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), Riyadh’s premier business and lifestyle destination, has announced the opening of W Riyadh – KAFD, marking the debut of the W Hotels brand in Saudi Arabia.

The launch of W Riyadh – KAFD strengthens KAFD’s hospitality portfolio and underscores its growing appeal as a destination for leading global hotel brands, further positioning the district as a key hub for business and leisure travel.

The opening follows recent hospitality developments within the district, including the launch of Kimpton KAFD Riyadh in September 2025 and the signing of a Hotel Management Agreement with Hilton during the Future Investment Initiative (FII) in October 2025 to operate a 450-key property.

These additions expand accommodation options for both business and leisure travelers, supporting KAFD’s ambition to provide a world-class environment for global and local enterprises operating in the Kingdom.

Located in KAFD’s walkable, mixed-use district, W Riyadh – KAFD offers direct connectivity to offices, residences, retail outlets, and cultural venues, along with access to the KAFD Metro, linking the development to Riyadh and King Khalid International Airport.

W Riyadh – KAFD features 210 rooms, including 17 suites and two penthouses, alongside multiple dining venues such as Sira, a Latin American restaurant focused on open-fire asado cooking; Beni, an all-day coffee house; and WET Deck, a poolside venue offering Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. The property also includes more than 1,000 square metres of flexible event space, in addition to wellness facilities such as the AWAY Spa and FIT fitness studio.

The development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy, which aims to expand the Kingdom’s tourism sector and increase the presence of internationally recognized lifestyle hospitality brands to meet rising demand for high-quality, design-led accommodations.
