The third generation eDirham cashless payment service of ADIB has two variants, ADIB eDirham Gold and eDirham Signature.

The eDirham cards of ADIB have authorized Chip and PIN to ensure secure payment procedures and can be easily topped in any of ADIB branches across the UAE.

The contactless card can also be linked with the eDirham Instant app for making instant payments, viewing payment history and managing accounts.

ADIB has been investing heavily in expanding its digital banking and payment solutions to offer its customers simple and convenient banking experience.

eDirham

The eDirham system was initially launched in 2011 by the Ministry of Finance as a digital payment method for collecting government service fees and revenue in ministries, federal and local authorities.

The platform gives many benefits including low costs and the possibility of paying service fees through various channels like eDirham apps for phones, e-wallet, vouchers and self-service eKiosks.
