His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of Ajman Chamber, has welcomed Nepal’s Ambassador to the UAE, Tej Bahadur Chhetri, to strengthen economic cooperation and promote direct investments between Ajman and Nepal.

The meeting at Ajman Chamber headquarters was attended by HE Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General, and the Nepali delegation led by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).

Al Nuaimi welcomed the delegation, highlighting Ajman’s commitment to strengthening global economic ties and providing a sustainable investment environment across sectors such as industry, commerce, tourism, services, education, healthcare, real estate, and construction.

The Vice Chairman noted that Ajman Chamber’s annual plan focuses on enhancing international cooperation, attracting quality investments, boosting competitiveness, and enabling local products to reach global markets.

Al Nuaimi also emphasized Ajman’s advantages, including fast government services, competitive costs, strategic location, advanced infrastructure, and flexible legislation supporting business growth.

The meeting explored joint cooperation and investment opportunities in sectors including agriculture, education, tourism, industry, financial services, IT, and retail, as well as ways to boost trade between Ajman and Nepal.

Investment prospects in Al Manama and Masfout were discussed, and the delegation was invited to participate in the Ajman International Education and Training Exhibition (AETEX) 2026. Participants also proposed joint forums and events to connect business communities and exchange information to strengthen trade and investment ties.

Ambassador Chhetri reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to strengthening economic and trade ties with Ajman and exploring partnership opportunities across sectors of mutual interest. He invited Ajman Chamber to visit Nepal to assess investment prospects.

The meeting concluded with both sides emphasizing expanded cooperation, knowledge exchange, and new investment opportunities, marked by the exchange of commemorative shields and gifts between HE Al Nuaimi and Ambassador Chhetri.
