AKCEL Holding, a Dubai-based diversified conglomerate, has signed a strategic development agreement with XRange Golf Entertainment to develop a network of next-generation golf entertainment venues across the UAE.
The project is valued at over $272 million (AED 1 billion) and aims to combine technology-driven sports experiences with hospitality, dining, and social engagement for residents, tourists, and corporate clients.
The initiative will initially explore locations in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Ras Al Khaimah, with plans for further expansion as the platform scales.
The venues will feature interactive driving ranges, digital gaming, and immersive entertainment elements designed to appeal to a broad audience while positioning the UAE as a global hub for experiential leisure.
Driving growth in UAE tourism and gaming
The project aligns with the rapid growth of the UAE’s gaming and tourism industries. The development will be supported by the AKCEL Growth Fund, an institutional investment platform operating within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) ecosystem.
The fund, established by AKCEL Holding and Enlightened Minds Investments, identifies high-growth opportunities across real estate, technology, sports, and experiential infrastructure and will serve as the primary investment vehicle for expanding the XRange platform.
